If anyone has any canon camera compatible lenses and no use there for and is interested in money...let me know, i am looking for lenses to use with my x901 canon rebel... As well, are quantaray lenses rated as good as original canon series lenses? that is what ritz camera carries and is trying to sell me.

thanks...didn't seem quite right with the price and all...

how about building a raised highway...or we could just ban rainfall to the area...

wow, a whole 50,000 dollars US currency....try to work there in the summer when there is no staff and half the time you can't go home when you want to...not worth it...oh yeah and then again Yonkers starts at about that and no one has been forced in 2 years...more staff-more calls-better pay...no brainer...oh and steady shifts...
-
And then try to write a ticket in Cortlandt...oh I know this one and I know that one...is apparently all you get...so then you have to be careful not to piss someone off and get relocated or something...
-
People kept calling 9-1-1 to report fireworks being set off...and one lady said "that is illegal and I want those responsible arrested and prosecuted"....right...go and enjoy the free show or turn the tv up...It is July 4th, our independence day you know...freedom ah freedom...well not according to the old hag from colonial heights assoc of taxpayers! what a joke...
-
What is funny is news 12 called the other day asking me if the fire/police dept was broadcast over any websites...so if it happens please keep it amongst the members...private...news 12 has been getting awful annoying calling everytime we set off a tone...what is it? should we roll?....leave me alone................................................................. Oh yeah I think they are going to do an exposé on disorderly youths in Yonkers ...cause they keep asking us questions about what priority these calls go in as and if camera's on the city's southwest side would help...right...why don't they go down and move the youths along and see how easy it really is.

Don't know but I was hearing them quite clearly...especially on the 4th...I was ch2 for the entire night so I wasn't quite that busy but i was backing up both 1 and 3 and heard everything clearly...maybe it is a scanner problem...400 car was clear as day even though he was 400b...

Actually Orp that day you speak of was my first day...remember that pretty well now I do...

Well, I have taken 6 to the hosp in one ambulance so was that an MCI????? 3 motor vehicles involved in a collision...all walking wounded...1 in the pass seat, 1 in the captains chair, 3 on the bench and 1 on the stretcher...me, I just stood there and handed everyone an acr...they can read and write, right?...901 was my partner at the time...just make sure you carry extra pens somewhere in the ambulance...in fact there have been times in Yonkers where an EMT has remained upon a school bus with excess of 15-20 patients that were either un-injured or had minor injuries and the bus followed the "bus"to the hospital and the 2 EMT's were responsible for all the paperwork...so does that qualify? An MCI is a situation where the number of victims outweigh the amount of resources available without extending transport times of victims to area hospitals...in this case units are set up, the first EMS team at the scene triages the case and determines what is needed...a potential MCI may not be a true MCI...

when you can do it in 2 minutes and do it 14 times in 1 day let me know....so my chauffeur was driving a lot ya know
-
hey doc the cops don't control the fire dispatch...there is an fd lt in there and they just sort of rent space and dispatcher time from the police...however if you all will be broadcasting me there is a fee. You can contact my agent at 1-866-dispatch...and they will get you guys the account set up for when I am on the air k.

Ch 3 is not even worth listening too unless you hear a car req another unit to switch over...we don't even monitor it in the radio room until we want to see what they want each other for.........
-
We have had a crackle in the radio room and motorola (ESS) was there to look into it..let me know if it continues
-
don't you ever just wonder where all our tax money goes...oh yeah to everyone else's spending needs...it is just like profit sharing in baseball...we pay high taxes here and others get some because they don't have as much money...imagine that
-
MDT's on fire trucks in Westchester would definitely free up 46.26...but you have to teach sooooo many people how to use them...YPD has them in almost every car and very rarely is anyone ever logged on...3-4 cars at the most...
-
Currently only Eng. 309 is carrying the LDH...E312's stash is on the barn floor due to rig problems...While the Smeal is out and they are in an older Mack they are unable to carry due to space on the truck...

It is definately nice to have a chauffer...901 was mine for 4 years...he was tac-6 aide to central...
