afd you are talking about emd codes...i don't believe that any agency in this area uses such however metro dade county uses this to dispatch their units...the numbers in fron are associated with the condition (i.e. medical or injury) accord to the emd card book...

well I will return to yonkers when it is either run by the pd, fd, or is a third party service...not including empress obviously...and if the fd takes it over and we still have to sit on post who cares...i used to hate sitting around the station...driving around is way better...see more chicks that way...right 901

if you are worried about them being on medical calls they don't do that many (maybe more than most dept do total in westchester) but that is as important as a fire call...as well they are dispatched to medical in nature type calls...not all ems calls...injuries go to pd.. and then ems goes on a number of jobs alone...especially when they are in the areas of mulford/school/schloebaum/cottage if you know what i mean...

The police would be very unhappy if all responders brought their own vehicles onto the highways for all calls. the police have a responsibility to create the least impedence to traffic and provide safety to all on scene. by having too many vehicles on the highway they are unable to accomplish such.

Was watching fx the other day and got to see a preview..not bad...it would be nice to have a realistic drama about the emergency service even if it be solely based on fire... not a big fan of ER of 3rd Watch... nothing compares to EMERGENCY! and CAR 54...
