First of all, ANY time we get fires along the tracks, the FIRST thing we do is put a STOP on ALL trains. They beg us to let them "walk the trains through" but NO WAY will we allow that. That's when they get their moneys worth out of Chappaqua Limosine, It's in their best interest to get that tanker out there. The quicker it gets there, the quicker the fire gets extinguished. We need water. And no there are no sidings in the area.

We've utilized it on some of the large brush fires along the tracks between Croton Falls and Brewster.

I see what you mean, but the ladder you are referring to is a roof ladder, note the hooks on the end. the attic ladder is the little square object in the rack above the others.

Like calhobs said shouldn't run into problems, check with the tech, he may be able to get the router up, at least on the first floor. A while back, I lost my wireless connection and the router was only a few feet away from the computer, so it was easier and quicker to just cable the whole gamn thing. seems to be a bit faster, even than the wireless anyway. Also, like calhobs, I too am patiently awaiting the introduction of the FiOS TV.

Just out of curiosity, what is required to achieve and maintain Level 1 and Level 2 center?

I just want to take a moment to express an extra THANK YOU to all in our Armed Forces. Tosay, being Armed Forces Day 2007, Lets all say an extra prayer, or word of thanks to ALL of our Service Personnel for the GREAT job they have done and continue to do, so we can enjoy the freedoms and very lives we have.

Living in Lake Carmel, I would love to see PHC or even NWHC become Level 1 TCs. I've been a patient in both, and was very satisfied with the care I received.

It's home, but when I go out and about, it'll be in the car. Ya never know when you'll need it.
