I have found that the Westchester DES Site is out of date and does not have the full compliement of CME Classes / Courses offered in the region.

I am looking for online schedules of hospitals or colleges that offer CME credits.

Question about Furnaces. Can a gas furnace be fueled by propane. Is con-edisons gas the same as propane what is the difference?

Fairview FD has laptops mounted in their vehicles. I am not sure of what they use them for. If it on a radio network or just has information stored in the hard drive.

No disrepect, but shouldnt a chief know all the streets in his jurisdiction? I think GPS for a chiefs car would be a waste of money.

A few years ago I rented them at Playland to use in the sound. They were the sit on type. Does anybody know if they still do that? It was a private organization and not through the county.

Try EMS (Eastern Mountain Sports) in Eastchester I have three from them. Lots of fun in the Hudson or Sound.

Im sorry to go off topic ...but after recently seeing some hospital bills (that usually get paid by insurnce) there is no reason that this hospital should be sufferring. It is poor management and other wastes of money that is ruining them...(

Forgive my ignorance but what are ANSC nurses. "Our" ofifice is always empty and locked. And that sink issue is true you have to wash up in patient rooms or the slop sink in a closet.

Glad you brought that heap to light. I was looking at it the other day because we were unable to manuver a patient around it because the containers are so close to the abmulance bay. Those containers are loaded with cigarett butts and other garbage. I like how that funky security keypad was already removed. They still keep those doors wide open with no security for anybody to walk in.

I saw some type of hoopla at the house on 119 Friday morning around 1100. Nothing on local news although CBS had a van there.

It all depends on why you are getting stopped. I sure if you are being stopped for a trivial infraction, the scanner is off and you explain the reason you have it their shouldnt be a problem. If you are being a wiseguy and the officer is looking for a reason to issue more summonses then thats a different story. Im sure a lot depends on your demeanor.

Seems like WP is becomming more like a inner city hospital. Looks like they have more PA's around doing triage. Having the PA's triage ambulance patients is going a lot faster than the RNs. My biggest gripe about WP is that the RNs ignore you when you are awaiting triage. The PA's are a lot more on the ball.

Looks like MTA has changed their base coat to Grey / Silver. Scarsdale MTA and WP do all have the same striping now.

The actual departments get the results in the summer. Canidates dont get their score until September or October.
