    Washington H&L Co. 2 (TL-42) 'The Truck', Ossining F.D.
    1890 Horse Drawn Ladder

    1918 Republic (Purchased from Kahn Bros. of Yonkers. This truck was a second-hand, three-ton dump truck which was converted for hook and ladder duty. It became the first motorized equipment to serve the company; this rig remained in service for ten years.

    1928 Mack (city service) truck with 45-foot extension ladder (Nicknamed “Little Mack”)

    It's open to the public and our neighbors of the fire service. The residents of Ossining own this equipment. This is part of the comrade we have with our brothers/sisters in the fire service. Here's a great opportunity to see what the OFD recently purchased. Perhaps another department will see something they like or dislike, who knows. Also take in financially what the equipment cost, etc. etc.... On a personal note when I attend Parades or Inspections throughout the year I like to see what other equipment dept's have on their apparatus and how its setup and operational....

    Lyle Robideaux: Yeah, that was pretty funny. How 'bout the time Bobby tackled the guy from Louisville, and threw him into the stands?
    [Everybody laughs]
    Guy Grenouille: Y'all remember the time he intercepted the ball and his pants fell off, and he ran for the touchdown bare a**?
    [Everybody laughs]
    Farmer Fran: Remember the time Bobby Boucher...
    [begins to mumble in his southern drawl, and everybody stares at him]
    Bobby Boucher: [bobby shows up in the locker room by surprise] Remember the time Bobby Boucher showed up at halftime and the Mud Dogs won the Bourbon Bowl do ya?
