  1. And the lawyer at the center of this mess....Jonathan Lovett....A man who makes a living playing both sides of the fence. I love how in certain cases, he's all for civil servants and in others, civil servants are a plague on the community. With that said, if I needed a good lawyer, he'd probably get the call. You may call me a hypocrite, but he know's how to get the job done. It beats the alternative.

  2. Does the 1st ammendment go out the window when you become a police officer? Apparently in Westchester it does... I read the article that led up to Det. Bonura's suspension, and was thinking to myself, finally someone has the nerve to speak the truth. Maybe it's time for the D.A. to stop cutting sweetheart deals for career criminals.

  4. Sharpton and Co. couldn't really speak up as they wanted because all of the detectives were not white. The situation, as it unfolded, dictated the outcome. It's easy for critics to Monday morning quarterback what happenned, however, I'd like to see what would happen if they were put in the officers shoes. Just to end my little rant, like the saying goes, I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6...This time it only took 1 to judge.
