Nobody's afraid to step away from their keyboard and fight with the City Management and Chiefs. In fact I've been on the job for 20yrs. and that's all we've done to no avail in the City of Mt.Vernon. That's why so many memebers come on here and so called rant and rave because they've been there and done that and where has it gotten us? No friggin where! That's why we come on here to voice our complaints and concerns, but once again to no avail, especially when we have guys like you bashing our every efforts. The bottom line is, we're not getting anywhere with our Administration and that's why many of us are asking for everyones help through this web site. Unfortunately the FDMV members are fighting an uphill battle, not only within their own Dept. but also with their neighboring Depts. who feel obligated to respond in on Mutual Aid to assist. It amazes me how so many of our neighboring, so called, Career Brothers are blind to this fact! And they call themselves Professionals? Yeah Right! No true Union member would behave this way. The bottom line is, most everyone is out for themselves when it comes down to the almighty $$$$$$. no matter how they earn it!
