New NYS Fire Administrator- Jim Burns Leaving

Just and FYI just came back from Montour Falls for Explorer Weekend to find out that Jim Burns will be leaving as the State Fire Admin guy at the end of the year. It in unsure who will be replacing him and what his objectives are. Right now, Jim Burns is a very big supporter of the explorers and supports their weekends, don't know if the new admin guy will, or what the budget for training will look like.

Jim is a political appoinment and wil be leaving with a new administration. He has been wonderfull to the fire service esp here in Westchester. i have known Jim for a long long time and wish him well.

ohh FYI Director Nagle wil lbe leaving also-- good luck To Dick--mabey we will see him teaching at Westchester Fire Training Center!!!!

YES I agree James A Burns has done a lott for Westchester and the State of New York. I have know James for my entire life. I have been to several Army NAVY games with him every year. The Best of Luck to JAMES A BURNS
