Location: From Irvington waterfront to Tower Ridge Boat Club in Hastings

Units Operating: Irvington PD, WCPD, Greenburg PD, Hastings PD; Yonkers PD Marine #1, WCPD Marine #3

Description Of Incident: Pursuit of a male along the shoreline, possible EDP, who was in and out of the river until stopped on jetty behind the boat club. Suspect fought Officers on the jetty until subdued. (1) Yonkers P.O. in the water that swam in from the Marine Unit to assist an officer down. (1) Greenburg P.O. injured and transported, non-life threatening.

1700hrs: Irvington PD reporting Black Male laying down in roadway, upon investigation IPD confronted the male. Male apparently punched the RMP and fled.

1830hrs: Dobbs Ferry PD RMP 904,905 Dispatched to South Broadway @ Hastings for a MVA W/ ped struck.

1833hrs: DFPD RMP 905 reporting person hit fled towards the river from Broadway, jumping down a 25ft cliff. Possibly on the tracks.

1839hrs: DFPD RMP 906 in the area of the chart house with nothing showing on the tracks.

1844hrs: Multiple MTA units on scene on tracks @ Dobbs Ferry train station/Chat house area. Suspect is a Tall black male with a white shirt, now reported to be an EDP.

1854hrs: DFPD RMP 905 reporting a visual of someone in the water just south of the Chart house. DFPD RMP 906 advising that Yonkers Marine unit is responding.

1910hrs: Suspect is reported to be on a jetty just north of the Tower Ridge yacht club. Multiple units on scene including marine units, negotiations ongoing.

1930hrs: Suspect in custody, (2) officers with injuries, Greenberg PO and Dobbs Ferry PO, Both transported to Dobbs Ferry Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Tarrytown Fireboat 5 and Sleepy Hollow Marine 7 were requested to respond to the listed loaction. Both units arrived on scene and stood by while PD negotiated with the suspect. Both units cleared after the suspect was taken into custody.
