I just wanted to say congratulations to Elia for becoming a full time Pelham Manor Firefighter. My family and I have watched him go from the bottom to the top and bust his hump to get there. He can now say he has the perfect job that he has wanted since he was a kid. (not many people can say that)

There is nothing that kept him from reaching the top and having a few laughs along the way. He to me is what a firefighter is about. He is endlessly online and reading books about anything related to fires. His knowledge and enthusiasm to learn is next to none and I wish him the best in his career. No one is more proud then I
