FYI for Yankee Fans

NEW YORK -- A familiar face is on his way back to the Bronx.

Andy Pettitte and the Yankees reached a one-year, $16 million agreement on Friday, adding the left-hander to New York's rotation for 2007.

The contract also includes a player option for 2008, also worth $16 million.

If he can keep his elbow healthy its a big pick up for yankees, also Roger might decide to give the Yanks one last shot as well and if so watch out!!

Or, Roger might go back to his true home, just a few hours North of the Evil Empire.

HA!!

You can make it up to Canada in a few hours??

And that was not a home for him, barely a stop... biggrin.gif

Great! dry.gif

He could never win when we needed him to, only in the post season. Should have never re-signed him, another old arm in our bullpen.

His arm is pretty suspect. I dunno if the Yanks made a good deal here. As far as Clemens is concerned, I think he's gonna waffle like he did last year and then get his butt handed to him a few times and realize it's time to go.

Glad we have a solid Lefty back, but what we really need is young, fresh, talent!
