The Scantenna by Antennacraft is awesome. Can easily pick up departments 30-50 miles away (sometimes up to 80 miles away). Here is a link to an online dealer:

Pricey but Austin makes some really good hihg gain ons for extra DXing.

I have a spider set up, placed up 70 ft high, pick up alot...too much if you ask me lol. Make sure your scanner has PL/DPL settings so you don't get different agencies from other states. But overall it's very good, and I highly recomend the spider.
