Explosion At Grandma's Pies In Yorktown In The 90s

I saw that there was a fire in "Grandma's pies" in Mohegan yesterday. I recall my dad telling me a story one time about an explosion in that building in the late 80s/early 90s. He said that there was a gas leak and when the place blew up, it flattened the entire building. Does anyone remember this?

What exactly happened?

gas leak in early 80's probably 1980. owner heard gas leak, got all the patrons out no one was hurt. Can't remember how bad the damage was.

The fire the other night wasnt that bad but I know I will no longer be eating anything from grandmas again. The fire was from the oven from grease and other causes
