A Great Source For Police Car Modeling

4 posts in this topic

To some of you this may be old news, but I just found this GREAT site for Police car modeling supplies:

http://www.policecarmodels.com/

Im looking to make up my own dept cars, looking for custom printed decals and more accessories than this site. Any ideas on where to go or where I could get prices on getting the whole car made by someone?

go to policecarmodels.com. i recently bought an unmarked police car from them, i kept it unmarked, but they have decals, light kits so you can make the model lights flash, you can order custom decals, and theyve got a bunch of different cars. deffinately check out policecarmodels.com, they are one of the best sites you can find, and they are nice so they will answer any questions you have. they can also get you in touch with companies that make the car models., so contact them and ask them.

Both Microscale http://www.microscale.com and McGonigal Paper http://www.mcgpaper.com produce decal sheets that you can print on your inkjet or laser printer. They both also require their own setting solution as well as a clearcoat, details on their website.

As far as already printed custom decals, http://www.roadblockers.net and http://www.policecarmodels.com have an extensive 1/64 and 1/24 collection of decals for numerous different agencies that can be modified to the agency of your choice.
