Time: 0610 Hrs

Location: 10 Celli Pl. Between Herriot ST and School ST.

Description: Heavy Fire through Roof, and windows of a 2 1/2 story wood framed house. 2 L/S/O, Men Venting the Roof. No Exposure Problems.

Frequency: 46.50, 484.7125

Units: E-303, 306, 308, 304, TL-71, L-72, R-1, B-1, Car 5, 6

0610 Hrs- Multiple Calls of report a fire on the 2nd floor of a 2 1/2 story occupied dwelling.

0615 Hrs- Battalion 1 on scene reporting 10-29, 10-30 (Confirmed working fire, using all hands) Heavy fire on the second floor.

0630 hrs- Battalion 1 reporting 2 L/S/O, Men venting the roof, making good progress, Primary Searches negitive.

0640 hrs- Main body K/D, Checking for extension, requesting Con Ed for wires down.

does yonkers use different 10 codes, what is a 10-29 and a 10-30

No, Yonkers Doesn't use County Codes, they have there own. 10-29 means structure fire, and 10-30 means Using All hands. When A Unit pulls up to a scene signaling a 10-29 10-30, the dispatcher sets off tones over the UHF frequency which notifies the safety officers, the arson investigator, Mask Service Unit, and if it goes into alarms, All the major bosses. I believe once a 10-30 is transmitted the dispatcher is suppose to send an additional engine , but was not the case last night. Here is a list of Codes YFD uses:
