Man, this has been a bad summer for drownings in our area. I hope something can be done to prevent a repeat next summer!!

Unfortunately this isn't even a bad summer, its a typical summer. We normally have 2-3 a year. Its rediculous that people don't know how to swim and/or swim under the influence and/or jump off the rocks that are clearly marked. DEP didn't have enough lifeguards on duty today, even though they promised the town that they would have increased patrols and guards. Its just getting out of hand.
