NYC*DEP New Pierce Lance Hazmats

I didn't even know NYC*DEP was getting these. They look pretty mean! Hopefully some day I can get a shot....anyone know where these respond out of, and how they are staffed???

I believe that they may be running out of a DEP garage on East 25th street near the FDR. I'll look into it to verify.

I just got more info. The trucks are not deployed yet and they atill need to be stocked, members need to go through training, etc. Right now their located in Queens but it will probably be a while untill there ready to role.

Wouldn't they need to deploy them to like Hillview and somewhere more north? Considering they are there to facilitate usage during emergencies at reservoirs that are spread out throughout the state?
