21:28hrs E313, B-2 10-84 10-30 (All hands On Arrival). B-2 and E-313 were located at 185 Bronx River Rd., around the corner, picking up from a 10-26 (burnt cooking) at time of alarm. 1st Alarm-E-313, 311, 307, 312; L-73, TL-75, R-1, B-2, Car 5, 6.

21:30hrs- B-2 rpts fire in a (1)-story taxpayer. Exp. 1-street, Exp. 2- 2-story taxpayer, Exp. 3 rear yard, Exp. 4 -taxpayer with 5 foot alley. All co's working. Req. TL-75 to set up in front.

21:35hrs t, B-2 req. Special Call for 1 and 1, units to check exp. 2 for extension (E-314, L-70)

21:38hrs- B-2 req. L-73 reposition to Bronx River Rd. side in the rear lot of the Expressway Oil Change. Fire breaking thru roof in rear of laundramat. L-70 redirected to Vernon Pl. to set up at rear of building.

2140hrs- 2nd Alarm transmitted. CMD req. (1) engine (306) to fill out 2nd Alarm.

2142hrs- Fire thru roof of original structure and is extending into exposure (furniture store)

2145hrs- B-2 ordering all co's off the roof and directing incoming engine co's to Bronx River Rd. for water. L-73 setting up ladder pipe.

21:54hrs Battalion 1 Transmits a 3rd Alarm. TL-75 going in op in front of furniture store. Req. Con Ed to scene with rush for arching wires in front of building.

22:00hrs Heavy fire in a furniture store/ furniture restoration shop. TL-71 to set up on arrival in front of furniture store. Store was a former movie theater, and is located within a congested taxpayer. Fire extending to exposures. Heavy smoke condition in area. All companies working ATT. Multiple other alarms working within city, mostly automatic alarms, YFD handling also.

22:27hrs As per B-2, Interior Operation Ceased. All FF's Accounted For. Multiple exterior lines and master streams in operation. Fire thu the roof of (2) buildings. Doubtful will hold. Off Duty Recall In Effect. Battalion 3, Engine 303,308,309,L72 in service and covering other alarms in the city, reserve rigs being manned and going into service. New Rochelle Ladder 12 @ Station 13. 3 buildings total involved. L-72 and B-3 relocating to Station 12.

22:48hrs B-1 transmits progress report: All companies operating, cleared collapse zone around the building, 3 ladder pipes in operation, fire is thru the roof.

2300hrs- YPD holding over 2nd Pct Early Tour units at scene. Also putting an additional ESU truck in service for the Late Tour detailed to fire scene.

23:18 Heavy fire still remaining in all 3 structures. 901, Truck4, and DFFD227 continuing to photograph incident.

23:25 Engine 317 (Reserve Engine, Staffed By Call-In Manpower) in service from Ridge Hill Bunker, Relocating To Station 11.

23:31 Ladder 76 (Reserve Truck, Staffed By Call-In Manpower) in service from Ridge Hill Bunker, Relocating To Station 14.

23:45hrs Incident Command Post Unit On Scene. IC Operations moved within. ICU reports 7 master streams in use, still heavy fire in the rear of the buildings(s)

23:46hrs Systems Van going to Station 14 to pick up members to transport to fire scene.

0001hrs- YPD ESU Truck 2, Truck 4 responding to 500 block of Kimball Ave for MVA Rollover.

00:05hrs Systems Van At Fire Scene.

00:46hrs All units still operating, Fire is NOT under control yet. Prolonged operations.

0200hrs- CMD req E-317, L-76 to scene for relief.

0224hrs- Releasing E-314 using E-317.

0227hrs- E-310, 304, L-74 10-8.

0233hrs- E-306, L-70 10-8.

0236hrs- E-311 10-8, out of service down (2) members.

0348hrs- ESU Truck 3, Truck 2, Mount Vernon ESU, WCPD responding to Bronx River Pkwy at Mile Sq. Rd. for MVA rollover.

0400hrs- YPD ESU covering all PD and FD medical responses when available.

0730hrs- B-2 still operating with 3 engines (308, 313, 314) and 2 trucks (TL-75, 71). Req. companies be relieved at scene by day tour members.
