OHIO- COLERAIN - 2ND ALARM FIRE W/ 2-LODD FF'S

6 posts in this topic

It appears that the floor gave way as they were advancing, again as I have posted in the past the important tool we or most of us have in our inventory is our TIC. Last year in the first 2 months of 07 I think that 5-6 firefighters were lost from falling through the floor. Sometimes the signs of a basement fire are not noticed and it is too late. Use the TIC! May these 2 members of the Colerain FD rest in peace! Tragic Situation.

Or at the very least, more than 2 firefighters to being a fire attack.

Its a sad day to lose any firefighters let alone 2. I would be interested in knowing the type of flooring and members.

We must all be carefull out there. "Buildings are the enemy---and know your enemy." Frank Brangigian. certinaly wodrs to live by not to die by.
