Yonkers PD Warrant Squad responded on a routine warrant investigation at 220 Yonkers Ave, seeking one Brian Pettiford (of the famous criminal family from the Terrace City {Yonkers}). Upon arrival the suspect was sighted and a foot pursuit ensued. County PD was on scene to assist with Aviation and cars due to proximity to the SMRP/CCP interchange (building overlooks same, houses NEWS 12's CCP view camera). Suspect was later located in same building in the basement. Suspect was seen brandishing a hand gun just prior to the pursuit. 1 police officer did incur a minor injury. Great job by the units that worked it!
