Who covers Elmsford?

5 posts in this topic

All, I'm an EMT in Rockland and work in White Plains. A coworker who lives in Elmsford reached out to me about becoming an EMT. I've got him up to speed on classes in Westchester, but I'm not sure who to put him in touch with regarding volunteering.

Can anyone point me in the right direction so that the local Corps doesn't lose out on a new recruit?

Thanks,

Rob

Elmsford Volunteer FD does their own EMS, so he might want to contact the Fire Chief.

They may take "ambulance-only" members, if your friend is not interested in firefighting.

Contact:

Sydney Henry, Jr.

Chief of Department

Thanks for the fast response all. I've passed the info along to my coworker.

we do have ems only members. we usually do emt certs with irvinton vac classes but have held in-house courses. we usually do around 600 ems calls a year. if he is interested in becoming emt he should contact chief henry.
