Shame, Glens Falls and Lake George region are really neat especially if you love the outdoors. I think that the ADK mountains are some of the best in the northeast. The problem is all of the tourists make that area a little scummy at times. I was looking forward to going this year and spending time on the lake where I spent about 6 summers

Very sad to hear this news. I thought Lake George was great this year - was looking forward to going again in 2009. I believe that the Turning Stone Convention Center is a much longer distance to travel for us Westchester people.

Yes it is sad the show has moved. Lake George is a great place. I will say allthough it is a ride the Turning Stone is a beautiful casino.
