Anyone take FDNY EMS Physical Agility Test on Saturday ???

It was sooooooooooooooooooooo easy !!!!!!!!!!

That test is a joke. Basically they want to make sure you have a pulse and can walk up a flight of stairs without falling backwards. When I took it last year there were roughly 40 of us, and two people failed.

If I were a betting man, I would say 40-50%

I took the physical in 1997, prior to getting hired for my current position. What does the physical entail now?? When I went through, it was a curl, a lift like I was picking up a stretcher, up and down the stairs holding two twenty pound bags and then two minutes on a hand bike. Has it changed??

Not by much. It's the stairmaster with a weighted vest for a few minutes, stretcher lift simulation, the hand bike, and something else I forget. It's really just a waste of time.
