Spring Photo Outing

Seeing as how soo many of us are interested in the apparatus... and that are quality photographers on the forum, and sooo many of us represent such a diverse group of fire/ems departments.... what do people think about trying to organize an outing in the spring to get some shots.... get some tips, and have the chance to meet? Ideas?
