Here is an article I found on CNN.com about fire apparatus drivers. This article brings up some good points and mentions the LODD in Boston as well as issues with driver training and apparatus themselves. But is also funny and overall a good article to be presented to the public.

Most Depts that I know of do "in house" training. including F.D.N.Y. . There is NO DMV regulations for a tiller driver in any state that I can find, so what do we do?
