10 posts in this topic

Earlier this year, Ebe Pereira, the wife of Union Vale Station 2 Captain Joe Pereira and mother of Firefighter Mario Pereira, suffered a devestating brain aneurysm. Initially she was not expected to survive but through the grace of God she did and continues to recover although with complications. The Union Vale Fire Company will be hosting a Country Western Night to benefit the Pereira family on Saturday June 20th at 7pm at Tymor Park on Bruzgul Rd (CR-21) in Lagrangeville. There will be a DJ, dancing, Raffles and Door prizes. There will also be food and beverages available for purchase. Donations are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

In addition to the Country Western Night the Union Vale Fire Company and Rescue Squad will be holding a raffle. The first prize is two Yankee tickets vs. Detroit on Sat. July, 18th. Second Prize is six tickets to the Hudson Valley Renegades for any non firework game. The third prize will be $100 cash. The drawing will be July 10, 2009 and the donation is $5 per ticket.

Country Western Night tickets are available at the door or by calling 845-656-3541. The Yankee Raffle tickets will be available at the Country Western Night or by calling 845-224-8725 or see a Union Vale member.

The Union Vale Fire Company would like to thank the Town of Union Vale for the use of Tymor Park, Transcare for the donation of the Yankee tickets, and the Hudson Valley Renegades.

Please come out and have some fun to support the family of a brother.
