50-65......I found this collection by chance. I wish i had all the info on these rigs, but i do not. The Dorr family owns the farm, as well as this collection. There was a guest book on the property that i had signed. Seemed like people from all over had stopped to check them out. I had found a phone number for the family and called one day, but the husband who oversees it was out of town and i never got around to calling back.

I also wish i could have gotten some better shots, but as you can see, some of the rigs were real close to one another.

Photounit...Class 1 is a designation used by alot of bigger city FD's. If i am not mistaken, it has to do with their ISO rating, but i could be wrong. I know that you see alot of California rigs with "Class 1," such as LA City and County FD's.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the ISO ratings.....And what it takes to achieve them...... That's what stoked my curiosity..... LA City I believe lost their Class 1 status because they chose not to go through the audit process due to the cost if you can believe that.....

The American Lafrance is a late series 700 with 800 series trim and headlites most likely a late 1957 or early 1958 . the GMC is a 1953 with a 503 ci. gas motor and the B-85s 707 cu.gas motors with 750 G.P.M. pumps are mid fiftes, later ones like my B-95 had full compartments not running boards with boxs put on them.
