Yonkers firefighter released from hospital after Oct. 2 blaze that killed colleague

YONKERS - A city firefighter who was critically injured in a fire that killed his colleague was released Wednesday night from Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, authorities said today.

That sure is good news to hear that Lt Joe Murray has been released from the hospital. And Firefighter William Kanych was also released. I'm sure they have a long road to recovery yet. Hopefully with the proper care and rehab, they will make a good road to recovery. Thank you "X635" for that news.
