Woman Shot, Man in Standoff With Police

Litchfield (WTNH) - A woman was shot following a domestic dispute and now police are in a standoff with the suspect at a home in Litchfield.

It happened at a home on East Litchfield Road around 10:30 a.m. Police say the husband, identified as 53-year-old John Lavoie, is armed and refuses to come out of the house. Police confirm that the man is wheelchair bound.
