The CT Fire email list sent out the following announcement:

Non Line of Duty Death of Active Officer

Chief Struble of the Wallingford Fire Department announces with deep

regret the passing of Wallingford Fire Marshal Joseph Micalizzi Sunday

morning. Funeral arrangements will be announced early this week.

I just joined Wallingford about a month ago, didn't get a chance to meet Fire Marshal Micalizzi. I'll let you guys know when I get more information on the arrangements.
