Thanks for sharing Seth.

Looks like a good example when all the players contribute to the project and produce a well-thought out and functional rig.

Thanks, Matt.

Here's a photo of the just replaced Engine 2, which will be reassigned as a spare:

The main thing the members will miss about the old Engine 2 is the Quantum cab, especially it's roominess, handling, stairs, and especially horsepower compared to the Impel.

They won't miss the hoseline and hydrant graphic though!!

Also, I thought this mini-Speedy Dry hopper was kinda neat on the new engine...

I like the new Engine! It's sharp looking. I didn't think the Quantum was that old. Then again they've pretty much replaced all of the front line units, or about to. So I guess that would make the Quantum the oldest. Seth, what does Station 5, and 6 currently have. I know you told me 5 is getting a new rig soon, but I can't recall what they have right now.

Engine 5 just received there new engine. It's a 2011 Pierce Impel identical to Engine 2. Engine 6 is in a 2006 Pierce Quantum

WHAT COMPANY DO U BELONG 2 SETH

I don't. Because of an injury I suffered 4 years ago, I can never be a firefighter again-volunteer or career. And RRFD is all career.

Here is the new Engine 5. As of last night, Engine 5 still had their Quantum.

A new Engine 6 will be coming soon, which would make all frontline units under 3 years old. Engine 6 has the old Engine 2, and the old Engine 6 is a spare.

That makes no sense to replace E6's 06 Quantum with E2's old 02 Quantum and then move the old E6 into a reserve. You forgot about Truck 1 it's a 2001.

Engine 6 was replaced by Engine 2's former Quauntum. This was done because Engine 6 was having several mechanical issues, so they made it a spare.
