Hey guys and gals. I'm doing a report for school and I need to know all the active stations, posts and response areas of bls and als units for the county. This includes all vacs, paid and commericial ems units. There is a list from the New York State Dept. of Health website but I don't know how many are actually active and/or not just coroporate office locations. So i was wondering if anyone could help me on this issue. Any help on this would be greatly appriciated. thanks.

I don't believe there is such a thing.

Medics for the Cortlandt side of Peekskill Cortlandt Paramedics are actually employees of Hudson Valley Hospital.

Medics for LVAC and MEMS are employees of the Town of Mammaroneck Ambulance District as mentioned. I've no idea how they are hired.

There is (or was) a civil list for EMTs and Paramedics...thats how Town of Mamaroneck medics and greenburgh medics & EMTs get hired (bunch of friends of mine recently got letters from greenburgh off of this list) ....the application is not on the county website anymore, but it was there. It was all based on experience - you had to send in a resume with all you're relevant training and credentials and the county gave you a score and list # based on that.

I wasn't even attempting to add all of the "special" resources everyone has. Thanks for sharing, though.
