Reimbursement

3 posts in this topic

I've been going on multiple vol. websites and noticed that a few say ''Reimbursement of $7.50 per emergency response to account for fuel usage and wear and tear on your personal vehicle''. I think I even saw one that said that the 7.50 was also for wear and tear on your clothes. Now how many stations offer that and do you still get the reimbursement if you are already at the station and arrive at scene with the rigs?

Even if you are already at the station, you still had to get there...

I'm pretty sure you have to drive there to get the credit ( either to scene or station), and you should record how many calls you call and average out the miles ( this is how its supposed to work) because if you get audited on your taxes they'll want proof and how you got the number you gave them.
