Sleepy Hollow Explores WCPD Merge

SLEEPY HOLLOW — Village officials are considering the possibility of merging the local Police Department with Westchester County police.

Mayor Kenneth Wray and a village trustee recently met with county Police Commissioner George Longworth. They have not released details about their discussions. "I believe we should always explore the options, at least to find out if it's something that even is an option," Wray said Friday.
