County Airport - Aircraft Emergency - 12/27/10

Time: 1827hrs

Location: Westchester County Airport; Harrison, NY

Frequency: ATC, HPN Ops

Units Operating: HPN Ops, Airport 7, Airport 11

Weather Conditions: Cold, Clear, Icy, Windy

Description Of Incident: A private aircraft reported to ATC that they lost one of their engines. They lost it somewhere over the Philly Area. The aircraft landed safely at HPN. HPN ARF rigs were holding short of the runway, waiting for the plane to land. Airport 7 followed the plane to FBO. Airport 11 swept the runway for debris. The plane departed Malcolm Mc Kinnon Airport in Georgia enroute to HPN. Air Traffic was not disrupted.
