Dec. 27--DANBURY -- The History Channel sent a production crew to the city to find out what local firefighters carry in their pockets.

"They had a lot of stuff in their pockets," said producer Brian Leonard.

The History Channel will feature Danbury firefighters on TV's "Modern Marvels," a program about technology and "manmade wonders," according to its Website.

They will be in one of a special series of episodes called "What's in Your Pocket?"...

...They were doing a segment called, "`What's in Your Pocket?" and were talking to people working in various fields, including nurses, police and firefighters, Payne said. The film crew appeared interested in the Ardis tool and last month, he got a call from the producers who wanted to do another program focusing on it.

The crew was in town earlier this month and the show featuring the Ardis Tool is scheduled to be aired March 18, he said. A web site, Ardistool.com, was set to go live Sunday night....
