OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Flags flown at half staff stood as a solemn memory of Lieutenant Nathan Hollingsworth Williams. The 28-year-old Navy man was killed in a training flight crash in California on Wednesday.

"We just all just feel sorrow that words can't really express," said Minetto Elementary School music teacher Debbie Bartholomew.
