I did them at the same time so I can't remember what evolutions were part of which test, but I believe FFI was gear donning, SCBA inspection, hitting a hydrant, and tying a few knots. FFII was auto extrication, ventilation, raising a ladder and running a foam eductor.

There are usually six stations that the individual firefighter must pass. They range from donning full ppe includingh air pack in with in a time frame to ladder work to ropes and knots, usually some kind of hose stretchng, and a host of other tasks that the proctor can choose from. then theres a 100 question test.

Hope that this helps

I took them a few years ago. Try googling for practical ff1 certification - I found some sites that listed the possible stations.

For FF1, I think I had hose packing, ladder raise, hydrant lay, ppe donning, knots. For FF2 I onyl remember extrication and foam.

Try contacting your state or county fire training site. Good chance they will have the answers.
