I am presently active duty USMC & I am stationed at Camp Pendleton. I want to take the FDNY test, but I may not get leave when given in Jan 1012. Does anyone know if they offer the test on a military base?

Should be able to find some info there. I don't have an answer, but I'm sure if you called they would be able to help. Good luck!

(and I'm sure you don't hear this enough but Thank You for your service.)

Make sure that when you sign up to take the test you use NYS as your legal residence, I have a friend who is going through some BS with FDNY when it comes down to getting his Vets points because they claim he was not in NY when he took the exam. Over a 3yr battle at this point! Good Luck and Thanks for serving.

First problem is the test will not be in January. It will be given over several weeks most likely in February and March.

You would've already had to register if you want to take the test.
