The call in Cold Spring was just a precatutionary call a Tractor Trailer carrying Cholorine to the Cold Spring Plant on Fair Street in the Village ripped down a power line across the road causing the same power line to pull three services to houses out, breaking a window in a station wagon and ripping a 50 ft tree out of the ground and landing on top of the trailer. The PO / FD on scene thought that possibly the contents of trailer might be comprimised. As luck would have it the tree missed all the bottles by centermeters. HAZMAT metered the area as a precaution and assisted in inspecting the contents. Tree was removed and all products dropped off at treatment plant--PS On the inciident alert is said medic 1 was at the scene-- he was not he refused to go to the scene and when asked to respond to scene / command post he still was no where to be found -- for the entire call [-X Good job by CSPD and PCSO and CSFD and PVAC they did a wonderful job assisting HAZMAT

Gotta say--had lots of bad potential!!!! HazMat remained on scene until the tree was totally removed from the truck as a precautionaey measure. Definately a good call made by the PD and FD.
