Car 34(West Battalion Chief) o/s transmitting a Signal 73(Working Fire) for fire on the 2nd floor of a large 5-story brick OMD. Car 34(West Battalion Chief) transmitting a Signal 22(2nd Alarm) for heavy fire conditions. Fire contained to apartment of origin w/heavy smoke condition throughout the building. 2 L/S/O's w/Truck Companies opening up. All hands working. Originally reported as an activated fire alarm. All searches negative. One victim on the 1st floor treated by EMS. No other injuries reported.
