PEARL RIVER — As a member of Nanuet Fire Engine Company No. 1, Rich Biddleman has climbed into plenty of firetrucks en route to answering an emergency call.

But on Sunday, the firefighter took a different approach: He grabbed onto a rope tethered to the front of a 20,000-pound 1949 Pirsch engine and heaved the antique auto forward as part of the third annual Fire Truck Pull for Breast Cancer
