Weather Conditions: Cold

Description Of Incident: District 1 requesting a 4th Engine S/C and a District S/C en route. Engine 8 reporting smoke in the area en route. District 1 o/s reporting heavy smoke in the area. Engine 8 o/s transmitting a 10-3(Working Fire) for fire showing from the 1st floor, front, "A" side of a vacant 3-story brick OMD. District 2 o/s requesting a 5th Engine S/C for Rehab. District 2 reporting heavy fire showing throughout the building. Companies evacuating the building. 4 L/S/O's w/2 master streams in operation. Ladder Companies opening up. All hands working. Originally reported as multiple reports of fire in the walls at Broad St. x Madison St. All searches negative. One firefighter suffered minor injuries due to a partial ceiling collapse. Firefighter transported to hospital by AMR.

22:25hrs. - District 2 ordering companies to evacuate building. Companies using defensive attack and protecting exposures. Ladder 6 and Ladder 2 setting up for master stream operations.

22:27hrs. - District 1 reporting heavy fire throughout a vacant 3-story brick OMD.

22:31hrs. - District 2 reporting bulk of fire is k/d. District 2 reporting fire is D/W/H.

22:53hrs. - Tac. 1 reporting a partial ceiling collapse on a firefighter. Firefighter being brought down w/minor injuries. Engine 8 requesting EMS to the front, "A" side of the building for the injured firefighter.
