Status On Peekskill FD Central Station Project?

Does anyone know the status of the City Of Peekskill's Central Fire Station project?

In this month's Firehouse Magazine, there is a section on firehouse design, and it shows a picture of the concept drawing for PFD's proposed HQ.

I hope it comes to fruition, they truly need a new facility.

Last I heard the city is having trouble obtaining all the property. There is also talk of changes in the plans for the building to provide more space in certain areas. This is information I was given by a PFD member, hopefully someone can confirm.
