Regional EMS lineage

I was wondering if anyone can help me track the lineage of Regional EMS, as it moved from company to company.

I believe it goes

Regional EMS(part of Rockland Paramedic Service) -> Regional EMS (standalone company) -> Regional EMS (part of Hudson Valley Paramedics) -> Care 1 EMS -> EMStar.

Is that right? I believe Regional was its own company for a while, or am I mistaken and did it go right from RPS to HVP?

I believe it was sold to Empire State Ambulance, which began changing the name to HVPS, but certain areas continued operating as Regional EMS.

Regional EMS came from when Rockland Paramedics child company now Rockland Mobile Care had taken over Elliot's Ambulance Service (Don's) company. That became Regional. ESA then acquired Regional and did a name change as HVP's then to Care 1. This was still just a dba. For the record HVP is not nor ever was HVA Hudson Valley Ambulance.
