Chiefs Vehicles Cabinets: Don't Drive The Fire Around With You

2 posts in this topic

This type of cabinet should be mandatory in all Chiefs cars. And POV's that respond to the scene, etc. And there should be cases for going back and forth to training come to think of it.

A major concern has been the transporting of turnout gear after a fire or "call". Many volunteers regularly transport contaminated PPE and other gear in their personal vehicles, exposing themselves, family, friends and pets to toxins repeatedly. Some may and continue to store PPE in their trunks or passenger compartment which only facilitates off-gassing.

I saw the part with the air intake and exhaust, but does it exhaust the air outside, where and how?
