Employment Opportunity - EMS Administrator

 

The Town of Patterson is seeking a qualified individual for the full-time position of EMS Administrator. Work involves administrative and supervisory work associated with a town-based ambulance service. The EMS Administrator will also be responsible for completing duty tours on the ambulance. The EMS Administrator will coordinate and implement procedures and protocols in accordance with established medical procedures, cooperates with other local emergency and law enforcement personnel as necessary, provides supervision to EMTs and clerical support staff, and performs related work as required. Qualified Applicants must demonstrate competency in assessment of a patient and handling emergencies using Basic Life Support equipment.


Qualified Applicants must have a valid drivers license, and a current certification of EMT-B or better. Completion of ICS 05.A, 100, 700, 1.A, 800 & 900 a plus. Qualified Applicants should demonstrate a working knowledge of procedures, techniques and equipment, and demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws, departmental standard operating procedures and regulations. Applicants should demonstrate a knowledge of applicable emergency medicine techniques, policies, procedures, codes and laws, HCFA/Medicare/Medicaid changes and requirements, and Incident Command System. Applicants must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 125 pounds (250 pounds with assistance). Starting salary: $62,000.00. Please send resumes to the Patterson Town Clerk, P.O.
