I was just curious if manpower was a problem during the storm on 1/19 for both vollie and career Depts. The reason why I bring this to attention is that it happened so quickly and want to know how it panned out??

We ( Hawthorne FD) had about 10 members stand by in quarters during the storm. It was a hectic day for everyone.

In Pleasantville we had about twenty members at HQ and we handled 27 calls in the first 18 hrs or the storm. We had crews for all of our apparatus. Great job done by all my members.

Croton FD had all three Engines, Tanker 10, Rescue 18 and an EMS crew on for most of the day. TL44 was not placed on standby, but I am told that personnel were on hand if needed.
