Civilian Police Program in International Police Program

DynCorp International FZ-LLC (DIFZ) seeks law enforcement personnel to participate in an U.S. Department of State sponsored international effort to re-establish police and justice functions in post-conflict International Police Program

Interested applicants must be active duty, retired or recently separated sworn law enforcement officers. US citizenship is required.

Compensation Package up to $175,632 per year.

Qualifications

• US Citizen

• Applicant must have a total of eight (8) years work experience with at least five (5) years being at the position of sworn civilian law enforcement.

• Actively serving sworn civilian law enforcement officers, or recently separated sworn civilian law enforcement officers (within 9 years).

• Ability to communicate in English.

• Valid US driver's license and ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle.

• Unblemished background.

• Excellent health and be able to pass a law enforcement physical and physical agility evaluation.

• Valid U.S. passport will be required.

• We are seeking applicants with two years experience in specialized skills.

• Must be able to qualify with a 9mm semi-automatic hand gun.

Additional Details

Up to 1000 civilian police advisors will be deployed to Iraq to help organize civilian law enforcement agencies.

Liaison Officers will work with Iraqi criminal justice organizations at the national, provincial, and municipal levels and mentor personnel at all levels of the Iraqi law enforcement system.

Contract length is one year. This is an armed, plainclothes mission.

Compensation Package up to $175,632 per year.

All lodging, meals, and transportation as well as logistical, technical and administrative support is provided at no cost to the officer. Dependent medical coverage available.

didnt they do somthing similar with fire fighters in Iraq? I remember a buddy of mine considering going over there for upwards of 100K a year to fight fires.

There is a program for FF's overseas. If yoiu look in Fire Engineering or one of those mags you will see a full page color ad in there. I know they have run the ad a few times in 2005.
