Greenburgh- NYPD aviation?

I heard GPD send some units to set up a LZ for what i thought to be a NYPD helo.... anyone know whats going on?

They are using the NYPD avation unit to shuttle blood back and forth for the officer that got shot in the Bronx. They have made several trips. The blood that was transported was from the cops in the BX that came up to the blood center to donate over the weekend. They are sending units down as it's needed.

was that cop shot in the north bronx? b/c i could have sworn i was in that white castle when i was at OLM last month...

I believe it was on Webster Avenue in the 180's which would put it in the 46 Precinct. Say a prayer for this guy and the cop who shot him. He lost his leg and still needs blood.

JBE is correct. It is in the 46. I doubt you would have found yourself there. It's not really in the north, but it's not South Bx either.
